Frequently Asked Questions . . .

Q. Do you accept insurance?
A. No, unfortunately I am only in network for a few insurance companies at this time. Not using your insurance or paying out of pocket could have more benefits to you: Some insurance companies limit the number of sessions they will pay for and will not cover couples or family sessions, so paying out of pocket would avoid any of this. Also, some people want more confidentiality with their case and do not want their insurance company to know of any kind of diagnosis or treatment plan, so paying out of pocket could be beneficial for you. But all insurance companies offer differing plans, so please call to inquire how your therapy could be covered or if you would like to pay out of pocket.

Q. How much do you charge?
A. If using your insurance, the cost of sessions vary and depend on your coverage, but typically I charge $120 for a typical 45-min session. Payment options are cash, check or credit card. You could use your insurance if you have mental health benefits, pay out of pocket (the full fee), or apply for the sliding-scale fee (further information about income required).

Q: Do you have current openings?
A: On a very limited basis right now. It is best to contact me to find out what my availability/openings are.

Q. When do you accept clients?
A. Currently, I am only available Fridays from 2pm-5pm, making the availability very limited.

Q. Do you only see married couples?
A. Nope. Couples (married or not) are only one type of clientele I am available to see. I can see you individually or with your family.

Q: What types of therapy services do you offer?
A: I offer psychotherapy, talk-therapy services within the therapy office, only. I am also offering "e-therapy" services, where we would have sessions over a HIPAA-secure connection, so it eliminates driving to the office!
